We actively support employees' community service efforts, and we are represented by our employees in organizations that share our passion for making the most of our natural resources.

These include United Way, Sierra Club, the Community Action Network, Keep Austin Beautiful and many other charitable organizations.

Kerry Getter, CEO of Balcones Resources, is a founding member of the Texas Corporate Recycling Council. This non-profit organization was formed to promote all areas of recycling in Texas corporations.

To further enhance our community relations, all of our recycling efforts operate only in enclosed facilities to minimize wind-borne paper littering surrounding areas. By choice, we locate our facilities in industrial parks so that our activities do not disturb residential neighborhoods.
